The F.Q. Story Home Tour took a break last year, with plans to rebuild and producea fantastic event for Saturday, December 7th, 2024.
Why no tour last year?
Our tour has had its own supply-chain issues last year, from a shortage of volunteers to a delay in lining up enough homes to offer a tour that meets our standards. Changes in government regulations also were a hurdle to staging our street fair and giving our vendors and guests a truly wonderful historic holiday experience.
It was a difficult decision for our committee to make, and not lightly made. We are committed to return in full force with a better tour in 2024! Our committee will use this long lead time to allow our dedicated volunteers to work out the issues that complicated the previous event.
We need your help!
No community can pull this kind of volunteer event off without strong neighborhood involvement. And that’s where YOU come in! We need your help, from serving on the Home Tour Committee to volunteering during the tour weekend to lining up vendors and sponsors. There are tasks of varying sizes and time commitments -- something for everyone! We are already working on the 2024 tour, and we’ve got big plans to make it a smashing success. This year’s date is Saturday, December 7th, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. The Street Fair will be held on Willetta Street between the 900 and 1300 blocks. See you then!
